Ingredients
200 g milk
40 g sugar
11 g active dry yeast
400 g multipurpose flour
30 g Canola oil (or 40 g butter)
1 tsp salt
1 egg yolk
1 Tbs milk
Method
Mix milk, sugar and yeast and let this mix rest until it bubbles (5 to 10 minutes);
Add in flour, oil or butter and salt and work the dough until it’s smooth;
Divide your dough into 22 parts and roll each one into a ball of about 30 g. Lay them on an ovenproof tray lined with baking paper and let them rest for 15 to 20 minutes in a covered dark place. Make sure you space your buns as they will rise and double in size;
Bake in the middle rack of your oven at 200 C for 25 minutes. Your buns are all ready!
