Kale chips

Updated: Jan 21, 2021

Crunchy and yummy, yet so healthy!

Whether you’re looking for an easy side dish, a yummy appetizer or a healthy snack, kale chips are the answer! They’re packed with vitamins and antioxidants and they’re so light and crispy that even kids actually like them. What’s best about them is that they’re ready in only 10 minutes. Just follow the 3 steps below:

Ingredients

  • 150 g chopped kale (washed and dried) *

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Place kale in a ziplock bag;

  2. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika and salt in a bowl, then pour this dressing over kale, zip up the bag and shake it;

  3. Air fry at 380 F (190 C) for 8/10 minutes and serve right away. Yes, it’s that simple!

*I use pre-washed kale, but you can totally use the fresh variety too. In that case you’ll need about 200 g as you’ll need to cut the stems off: all you want to use for this recipe is the leaves. Remember to wash and dry your kale thoroughly before frying it, that will ensure your chips are nice and crunchy.
