Easy Italian tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled

  • 1Tbs extra-virgin olive oil

  • 250g crushed tomatoes

  • 3 leaves of fresh Basil

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Method

  1. Heat up the olive oil, then roast your garlic cloves for a couple of minutes;

  2. Lower the heat and pour the crushed tomatoes;

  3. Cover up with a lid and let simmer for 10 minutes;

  4. Remove the lid and let simmer for a couple more minutes so your sauce gets dry;

  5. Add salt a pepper to taste then top with fresh Basil leaves.

That's it! Your sauce is ready for you to dress your favorite pasta!
